8b: Broadcasting - Output Page – Internet Mixer

The Output Page is where your video mix goes when your room is set to Active.

When you create a room, it also automatically generates a web-page URL that can be viewed from anywhere. You can find this URL in a couple of different places, where you can either click on the link and open the page as a seperate window; or you can copy it and send the link to another person or device to open from there. (See below for some of the places you can find yout output page).

The Output Page link will open a clean browser window that shows only your Live Feed, unobstructed by any other buttons, toolbars or information. It will live update as you make changes from the Mixer Page.

Open the link, then click Connect To Room.

Your browser window will then show your Live Feed:

If you move your mouse over the Live Output window on this page, you will see a Fullscreen mode button.

Clicking on this will disappear your browser toolbars and give you a full, unimpeded video feed on your device's screen.

You can also activate this mode by pressing F11 on your keyboard. (This works in Chrome Browser, which is our recommened browser for Internet Mixer. If you are using a different browser we cannot guarantee any Internet Mixer features.)

The Output Page link can be sent to anyone you wish to be able to view your broadcast only. There are no interactivity features on the Output Page so it is safe to send to viewers and audiences, safe in the knowledge that they cannot affect your broadcast from that page. By doing this you can create, mix and broadcast an entire show with multiple presenters in different locations, from within the Internet Mixer website, without using any other equipment, devices, or software.

You can also use this full screen output to feed into another vision mixer or streaming device to broadcast out in other ways, depending on your setup.

How to find your Output Page

Find your Output Page from your Room List in the Rooms section of your Workspace:
