Make sure you are on the Workspace Settings tab of your Workspace:
Global Settings
In the global settings tab you can set your preferred default settings for new rooms. These will automatically be applied when you set up a new room. You can still change them for individual rooms in the settings for the room itself.
Default Video Quality:
The default video quality type for new rooms. We have set this to 720p which is a good balance between quality and bandwidth. Please see below chart for alternative recommendations.

Reduced quality, lowest bandwidth. Recommended only for very small output displays. |
| 480p | Small output. Could be used for small PIP feeds. |
| 720p | Adequate for Laptop/Desktop Computer screens. |
| 1080p |
Highest quality, largest bandwidth. Recommended for large screens in presentation spaces. |
Default Output Mode:
Cover - The output will fill the screen with no gaps. Inputs may be cropped.
Fit - Inputs will not be cropped. Unused screen-space will be filled with black or your custom background.
Default Enable Global Stream:
Tick the checkbox to automatically enable Global Stream on new rooms.
Default Enable Screenshare:
Tick the checkbox to automatically enable Screenshare on new rooms.
Default Enable Text Chat:
Tick the checkbox to automatically enable Text Chat on new rooms.
Remember to click Save Settings on the top right to keep any changes you have made.
