It is a good idea to make a room inactive when you are not using it. This will ensure that your minutes are not being used up when you don't want them to.
Before you can begin mixing, a room must be made Active. This can be done from a few different places.
If you attempt to mix a room when it is is not Active, you will be prompted to make it so.
Rooms Tab
Make a room active from the Rooms Tab on Your Workspace using the toggle control:
It is advisable to keep your rooms inactive when not in use so there is no
risk of using up your minutes accidentally.
Mixer Tab
If you attempt to enter the Mixer Page of a room when the room is not active, you will see a prompt to set it to active. Clicking on the prompt button will activate it.
Comfort Monitor
In the Comfort Monitor tab on your workspace, you will find a drop-down menu to set which rooms you wish to send the comfort feed to. From here you can click to go to the mixer page for the room you wish to mix. If the room is not set to active you will be prompted to do so as the Mixer Tab paragraph above.
Guest Page
If a guest attempts to enter the room before it has been set to active, they will see the following notification. You will need to activate the room for them to proceed.
This comes before entering their credentials, so if you wish to gather data in the lead up to the event you will need to leave the room activated.
Output Page
If a room is not yet active, the Output Page will show your uploaded background image (or default black if you have not uploaded one.) Once you start mixing, this will change to your live mix.
